GCG is seeking an Inside Sales Account Manager to join our data center-focused sales team. The role emphasizes building relationships with key decision makers and suppliers, managing drop-ship orders, and driving year-over-year revenue growth in a remote setting with a Central Time Zone preference.

The position requires 5+ years in B2B inside sales, strong communication, and proficiency with CRM and ERP systems. A bachelor's degree and data center market knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of business-to-business inside sales experience, preferably in the Data Center space.
• Exemplary written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service orientation and follow-up skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop in-depth familiarity with GCG Data Center solutions to educate customers about products, pricing, and availability.
• Support strategic growth plans to help achieve annual goals.
• Nurture relationships with customers and suppliers to increase sales revenue as offerings expand.
• Manage purchasing and coordination for drop-ship orders, providing order/shipment updates.
• Research and prospect for new business leads using a consultative sales approach to drive returns.
• Create and execute plans to hit year-over-year revenue growth targets.
• Negotiate contract terms and pricing as the book grows.
• Demonstrate all sales process steps including cold calling, handling objections, closing, and follow-up.
