Keel Infrastructure is seeking a Director of Data Center Electrical Engineering to lead the company’s electrical standards across new data center developments. You will own critical power paths, UPS, BESS, and medium-voltage systems, driving reliability and efficiency for AI-driven workloads.

You will partner across mechanical, commissioning, construction, procurement, and utility teams to ensure design decisions align with business goals and customer requirements, while delivering scalable

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive electrical engineering experience.
• Experience leading electrical design on hyperscale, colocation, or data center projects.
• Technical owner or discipline lead on large capital projects.
• Experience mentoring engineering staff and external consultants.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own electrical design standards and specifications for all data center projects.
• Review electrical design packages for compliance with NEC/NFPA and standards.
• Oversee single-line diagrams, load schedules, and system architectures.
• Lead electrical value engineering balancing cost, reliability, and schedule.
• Support vendor selection and subcontractor qualifications for electrical scopes.
• Oversee construction administration, submittals, RFIs, and commissioning support.
