Job summary

Talantir is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer Level 4 for a fully remote role delivering large-scale data center projects across the West Coast. The position emphasizes leading portions of engineering work with minimal oversight and strong technical capability in electrical design.

You will design electrical systems, produce construction documents, and coordinate with architects, MEP teams, and project managers while maintaining QA/QC standards and NEC compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• California PE license is required.
• 3–5 years of electrical design experience.
• Experience preparing construction documents and performing power system analyses.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design tasks and provide weekly progress updates with accurate time estimates.
• Produce complete construction document packages for data center projects including drawings, specs, schedules, control diagrams, and power system studies.
• Perform advanced engineering calculations and complex hyperscale data center power studies.
• Coordinate design work with equipment submittals and ensure alignment with project scope and requirements.
