Job summary

Plan B Climatech seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead data center electrical design on hyperscale and AI campuses. This fully remote role centers on concept-to-construction support for high-uptime projects with major tech clients.

You will design MV/LV systems, protectors, and grounding schemes, while coordinating with mechanical, controls, and architectural teams. Seniority offers a clear path up and mentorship to junior engineers.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering required.
• Minimum 5 years in electrical design with data center projects.
• PE licence or ability to obtain soon.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design for data center projects from concept through construction administration.
• Design MV/LV distribution, substations, UPS, generators, switchgear, PDUs, busway, grounding.
• Develop N+1, 2N and other topologies to uptime tier standards.
• Design power for high-density AI halls.
• Coordinate with mechanical, controls and architecture teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and shape design standards.
