OP Engineering seeks a Senior Lead Electrical Engineer to take technical ownership of electrical design for data centers and guide project teams. This role blends hands-on engineering with leadership and direct client responsibility on hyperscale, technically demanding projects.

The position emphasizes mentoring, high design quality, and delivering resilient power systems across multiple programs, with strong client interaction and leadership in a remote-capable setting.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of electrical design leadership in data centers or critical facilities.
• ABET-accredited Electrical Engineering degree and PE license.
• Knowledge of N+1 and 2N redundancy in power systems.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Revit for electrical design and related analysis tools.
• Experience leading remote teams and managing client relationships.

Responsabilités

• Lead electrical design from concept to construction; provide technical ownership.
• Develop resilient power systems including utility connections, MV/LV distribution, generators, UPS, and switchgear.
• Guide engineers, review technical work, and maintain design quality across projects.
• Manage design resources, scope, budgets, and deadlines.
• Advise clients and resolve technical questions during delivery.
• Mentor colleagues and improve engineering standards and workflows.
