Job summary

ABB in the United States is seeking a proactive project support professional for the Data Center Services Center of Excellence. You will work with Project Managers to coordinate high demand projects, support execution, and ensure on-time delivery within budget and our operating model.

You will primarily operate remotely within the US, contributing to the Center of Excellence in the Electrification Service division.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required. Combination of higher education and relevant work experience highly preferred.
• 3+ years of project support experience required.
• CAPM certification or PMP highly preferred.
• 2+ years experience in Electrical-based project management or project support highly preferred.
• Current experience with Microsoft Office Suite required, including Excel, Outlook, and Word. Microsoft Project Planner a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
• Ability to work across all U.S. based time zones as needed.
• Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating high demand projects within our U.S. Data Center Services.
• Support execution of project activities to ensure on-time delivery within budget and operating model.
• Monitoring and releasing requests for invoicing, including follow up on delays and errors.
• Coordinating administrative tasks with email, SharePoint and project management software.
• Ensuring SLA and response times are met with proactive engagement across projects.
• Assisting project manager with scheduling kickoff and recurring meetings with stakeholders.
• Troubleshooting and resolving coordination and administrative concerns.
• Acting as backup support to project manager on weekly calls.
• Reviewing project plans to identify site safety and integrity topics prior to commencement.
