Job summary

ABB is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design and delivery of data center electrical systems, including Ehouse, switchgear, and transformers. You will coordinate with customers, contractors, and suppliers to develop compliant, high-quality solutions.

You will mentor junior engineers, stay current with data center trends, and drive process improvements while working remotely for projects across Houston, TX, Lake Mary, FL, or Mebane, NC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience and skills.
• Data Center Infrastructure Knowledge is required.
• Ehouse and Modular systems experience.
• 5+ years of relevant engineering experience in electrical power systems and project engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead project design and coordinate design deliverables with customers and project teams.
• Serve as technical lead for data center solutions with customers, contractors, and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with Electrical standards (IEC, NEC, IEEE, UL) and manage engineering change orders.
• Coordinate FAT/IFAT with manufacturing, procurement and testing teams.
• Review designs, document changes, and mitigate technical risks; mentor junior engineers.
