Job summary

ABB is seeking a senior field service engineer with a focus on datacenter power systems and automation. You will lead commissioning activities, configure and test PLC/HMI systems, and support field service engineers during project deployment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in electrical engineering or automation.
• 7–10+ years in field service engineering focused on datacenter power systems.
• Strong knowledge of power distribution, protection & control, and critical power applications.
• Hands-on experience with commissioning and troubleshooting PLC/HMI.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support commissioning of data centers, paralleling switchgear and power automation systems.
• Support field service engineers during project commissioning.
• Configure, test, and troubleshoot PLC/HMI, relays and other control systems.
• Conduct SAT, FWT, and FAT activities with customers to ensure project compliance.
