Job summary

Talanto is seeking an Architecture, Engineering & Construction (AEC) Expert — Data Centers for a contract role. This fully remote engagement offers $100–$140/hour and requires 5–10 hours per week with immediate start.

The ideal candidate reviews complex data-center tasks, verifies compliance with US building codes, and produces clear technical findings. You will work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines and improve deliverables.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in data centers or complex infrastructure projects.
Strong command of U.S. building codes and engineering standards.
Ability to interpret large document sets, specifications, and technical registers.

Responsibilities

Review complex engineering tasks in data-center projects to ensure realistic design and construction scenarios.
Evaluate structural and civil design, geotechnical inputs, and compliance with building codes and AHJ requirements.
Identify and resolve ambiguities, conflicting documents, and unrealistic deliverables.
Improve task prompts, acceptance criteria, and programmatic checks for better alignment with professional standards.
Produce clear technical findings and validate tasks from start to finish.
Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines and improve task quality.
