Job summary

Mercor is seeking an Architecture, Engineering & Construction (AEC) Expert for data centers. This contract role offers remote work and requires 2+ years in data-center projects with strong knowledge of U.S. building codes.

Responsibilities

Review complex engineering tasks in data-center projects to ensure realistic design and construction scenarios.
Evaluate structural and civil design, geotechnical inputs, and compliance with building codes and AHJ requirements.
Identify and resolve ambiguities, conflicting documents, and unrealistic deliverables.
Improve task prompts, acceptance criteria, and programmatic checks for better alignment with professional standards.
Produce clear technical findings and validate tasks from start to finish.
Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines and improve task quality.
