Job summary

Data and Digital Tutor (Assessor and Trainer of Digital Apprenticeships) is recruiting for a remote-based Apprenticeship Tutor to deliver and assess Level 3–4 Data apprenticeships. You will support learners through EPA preparation, tracking progress and delivering coaching via Microsoft Teams.

The role requires experience with Level 4 Data standards, safeguarding awareness, and a proactive, learner‑centred approach to curriculum development across flexible, remote delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering Level 4 Data apprenticeship standards (minimum 2 years).
• Experience guiding learners through Gateway and EPA processes.
• Strong data discipline knowledge and ability to support Software apprenticeships.
• Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (or equivalent).
• Good knowledge of safeguarding and equality & diversity.

Responsibilities

• Deliver remote-first teaching, coaching and assessment via Teams for apprentices (Levels 3–4).
• Support learners through formative and summative assessment and EPA preparation.
• Manage a caseload of 30–35 apprentices and track progress in OneFile.
• Administer apprenticeship programmes and ensure funding/compliance standards are met.
• Collaborate with back-office and external employers to support learner development.
