Virta Health is seeking a Data Analyst for the Client Group to own the data work behind accurate client billing. You will reconcile billing data across internal systems, investigate discrepancies, and build checks to ensure repeatable accuracy.

As the role expands, you will reduce billing friction by streamlining data flows, improving processes, and surfacing issues early. This is a high-ownership, hands-on data role in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in analytics, data, or finance-operations.
• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, lookups, large datasets).
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases.
• Demonstrated experience reconciling data across systems and resolving discrepancies.
• Exceptional attention to detail and high data accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile and validate client billing data across multiple internal systems, investigating and resolving discrepancies to ensure accuracy and integrity.
• Build repeatable data-quality checks, reconciliations, and documentation that strengthen billing processes and controls.
• Partner directly with the Client Group to support timely, accurate client billing and to answer their most pressing data questions.
• Develop and maintain reporting, dashboards, and analyses that surface billing trends, risks, and anomalies.
• Over time, drive down client billing friction through process improvement, better data flows, and automation.
• Collaborate across Product Analytics, the Client Group, Finance, and Engineering to understand data sources and improve the systems that feed billing.
