Job summary

Virta Health is seeking a Data Analyst for the Client Group to own billing data work across internal systems, reconciling data, resolving discrepancies, and building repeatable checks and documentation.

You will develop reports and dashboards to surface trends, risks, and anomalies, collaborate with Finance, Engineering, and the Client Group, and help reduce billing friction with process improvements. Remote-first with offices in Denver and San Francisco.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in analytics, data or finance-operations.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, large datasets).
• Strong SQL skills and relational databases experience.
• Experience reconciling data across systems and resolving discrepancies.
• Exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Ability to navigate imperfect data in a dynamic environment.
• Clear communicator with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile and validate client billing data across internal systems, investigating and resolving discrepancies to ensure accuracy and integrity.
• Build repeatable data-quality checks, reconciliations, and documentation that strengthen billing processes and controls.
• Partner directly with the Client Group to support timely, accurate client billing and to answer data questions.
• Develop and maintain reporting, dashboards, and analyses that surface billing trends, risks, and anomalies.
• Over time, drive down client billing friction through process improvement, better data flows, and automation.
• Collaborate across Product Analytics, the Client Group, Finance, and Engineering to understand data sources and improve billing systems.
• Operate within an agile framework, prioritizing effectively as needs shift.
