Job summary

LocalEyes is seeking a Danish native linguist to join its remote, in-house team of translators for IT, software, and documentation projects. Work-from-home is allowed; the role may involve Marketing content as a plus. You will translate, review, and QA terminology, ensuring consistency across TMs, glossaries, and style guides.

We value editorial skill, proactive problem solving, and the ability to adapt to fast-paced IT workflows with XML content and proprietary localization tools.

Qualifications

• Native Danish speaker with a degree in Applied Linguistics, Translation or equivalent experience.
• IT translation experience and knowledge of CAT tools such as SDL Studio.
• Experience translating IT, software, documentation; marketing a plus.
• Excellent English writing and communication; proactive and detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• IT translations and software localization, including documentation.
• Linguistic review and QA to ensure quality.
• Management of terminology with TMs, glossaries and style guides.
• XML content handling and adherence to localization workflows.
