Job summary

LocalEyes is seeking freelance translators for remote, project-based work in Marketing and IT. You will translate and localize content while ensuring cultural appropriateness and terminology accuracy for US audiences.

The role requires native-level proficiency, experience with SDL Studio and CAT tools, and the ability to work independently within a fast-paced, confidential environment. Availability of at least 4 hours per day and potential travel may be needed.

Qualifications

• Native in target language with degree in Applied Linguistics, Translation or equivalent.
• IT skills with SDL Studio and CAT tools experience.
• Experience as translator in marketing and IT preferred.
• Editorial/journalistic skills and up-to-date terminology knowledge.
• Excellent written/spoken English; understands US culture and localization needs.
• Detail-oriented, confidentiality-conscious and quality-driven.
• Able to work in fast-paced, changing priorities with deadlines.
• Travel availability as required; quick response times and good availability (≥4h/day).
