LocalEyes is seeking a freelance Danish translator for remote IT localization work, including documentation, software and potentially marketing content. The role involves translating IT content, performing linguistic review and QA, and ensuring terminology consistency with TMs, glossaries and style guides.

The position requires strong Danish language skills and familiarity with CAT tools. The engagement is freelance with flexible daily hours (minimum 4 hours per day) and may lead to longer-term

Qualifications

• Native in Danish with a degree in Applied Linguistics, Translation or equivalent experience.
• IT skilled with knowledge and experience of SDL Studio and CAT tools.
• Preferred experience as a translator specialized in IT, SW, Documentation, and Marketing.

Responsibilities

• Translate IT content and perform software localization.
• Conduct linguistic review and QA to ensure quality deliverables.
• Manage terminology with TMs, glossaries and style guides to guarantee consistency.
