Job summary

De Lacy Executive Recruitment North America is seeking a motivated Sales Representative for the Northeast U.S. (NY, PA & ME). This remote role focuses on growing the dairy industry market with field visits, account development, and end-to-end sales management.

The successful candidate will travel extensively within NY, PA, and ME, manage a full sales cycle, and build strong relationships with dairy producers and agricultural partners. A self-starter with excellent communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in outside sales, territory management, or business development.
• Experience selling into the agricultural industry is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of dairy production or livestock operations is a strong asset.
• Demonstrated success managing a full sales cycle and achieving sales goals.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across NY, PA, and ME.
• Prospect and build relationships with dairy producers and agricultural operations.
• Conduct customer visits to understand operational needs and present customized solutions.
• Generate leads through networking, referrals, events, and proactive outreach.
• Develop and execute a territory sales plan to maximize market growth.
• Represent the company at agricultural trade shows, conferences, and events.
• Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting through implementation.
• Qualify opportunities, conduct product presentations, and close new business.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and document activities in the CRM.
• Coordinate implementation with internal teams and external partners.
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and identify future opportunities.
