Job summary

Kinetix Technology Services, LLC is seeking a Cybersecurity and Compliance Manager for a remote, United States-based role. You will lead cybersecurity compliance programs, risk initiatives, and strategic advisory services for clients, guiding a growing team within the CSS organization.

You will partner with clients and executives to translate risks into actionable plans, drive continuous compliance, and ensure security commitments meet contractual requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years in IT, cybersecurity, governance, risk management, or regulatory compliance.
• Experience with NIST CSF, SOC 2, CIS Controls, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, CMMC, ISO 27001; audits, evidence management, and assessments.
• Strong client-facing communication and leadership skills with ability to advise executives.
• Experience delivering vCISO or cybersecurity advisory services in MSP/MSSP/consulting environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Security/IT or related field; certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead cybersecurity compliance initiatives across multiple frameworks and audits.
• Conduct risk assessments, remediation tracking, and vendor risk management.
• Oversee governance, risk, and compliance processes and program delivery.
• Provide vCISO advisory services, including security roadmaps and executive reporting.
• Guide AI governance, data protection, and emerging security risks for clients.
• Maintain policies and audit-ready documentation; ensure remediation of gaps.
• Coordinate with security operations on incidents and remediation activities.
• Support pre-sales engagements and opportunities to expand client programs.
• Oversee backup/recovery guidance and business continuity planning.
