Job summary

Kinetix Technology Services, LLC is seeking a Cybersecurity and Compliance Manager for a remote, United States-based role. You will lead multi-framework compliance programs and provide vCISO advisory services to clients, partnering across executives, security ops, and internal analysts.

You will guide AI governance, risk assessments, remediation planning, and continuous compliance monitoring, while mentoring the cybersecurity team and ensuring contractual security commitments are met.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in IT/cybersecurity, governance, risk management or regulatory compliance.
• Strong knowledge of NIST CSF, CIS Controls, SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, CMMC, and ISO 27001.
• Excellent client-facing communication, analytical and organizational skills.
• Experience leading teams, projects, and advisory programs.
• Experience with audits, evidence management, and compliance assessments.

Responsibilities

• Lead cybersecurity compliance initiatives across multiple frameworks (NIST CSF, SOC 2, CIS Controls, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, CMMC, ISO 27001).
• Provide vCISO advisory services, including security strategy and executive reporting.
• Manage third-party risk, vendor due diligence, and cyber insurance questionnaires.
• Guide AI governance, data protection, and emerging security risks for clients.
• Coach and mentor Security & Compliance Analysts as the team grows.
• Oversee Security Program Platform, governance, risk, and compliance processes.
