Job summary

Kinetix Technology Services, LLC is seeking a Cybersecurity and Compliance Manager for a remote, United States-based role. You will lead multi-framework security programs, provide vCISO advisory services, and report to executives while coaching the CSS team to strengthen client security programs and meet contractual obligations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in information technology, cybersecurity, governance, risk management, or regulatory compliance.
• Strong knowledge of NIST CSF, CIS Controls, SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, CMMC, ISO 27001 with audit support experience.
• Experience with risk assessments, third-party/vendor risk, cyber insurance, and GRC platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead cybersecurity compliance programs and risk management initiatives for clients.
• Provide vCISO advisory services and executive-level risk reporting.
• Oversee governance, risk, and compliance processes and remediation tracking.
• Collaborate with security operations on incident response and vulnerability management.
• Guide AI governance, data protection, and related security risks for clients.
• Maintain audit-ready security policies, procedures, and documentation.
• Support pre-sales engagements and opportunities to expand client security programs.
• Mentor Security & Compliance Analysts as the team grows.
