Job summary

New Charter Technologies, LLC is actively seeking a Cybersecurity and Compliance Manager for a remote, United States-based role. You will lead cybersecurity compliance programs across NIST CSF, SOC 2, CIS Controls, HIPAA, PCI‑DSS, CMMC, ISO 27001 and provide vCISO advisory services to executive leadership.

You will guide governance, risk management, and strategic security initiatives, mentoring security & compliance analysts, coordinating with clients, and delivering executive risk reporting.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in information technology, cybersecurity, or regulatory compliance.
• Experience supporting audits, evidence management and compliance assessments.
• Leadership experience managing teams or advisory programs.
• Experience with multiple frameworks (NIST CSF, SOC 2, CIS Controls, HIPAA, PCI‑DSS, CMMC, ISO 27001).

Responsibilities

• Lead cybersecurity compliance programs and governance initiatives.
• Provide vCISO advisory services and executive risk reporting.
• Oversee third‑party risk and vendor security diligence.
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams to meet contractual obligations.
• Guide AI governance and emerging security risks with policy development.
