You will work across standards like NIST CSF, SOC 2, CIS Controls, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, CMMC, and ISO 27001, providing vCISO guidance, audit support, and executive-risk reporting while mentoring the security team.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in IT, cybersecurity, governance, risk or compliance.
• Active CISSP certification in good standing.
• Strong knowledge of frameworks and audit support.
• Experience with third-party risk and GRC platforms.
• Excellent client-facing communication and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead cybersecurity compliance initiatives across multiple frameworks.
• Oversee risk assessments, evidence collection, and remediation tracking.
• Provide vCISO advisory services and executive reporting.
• Guide AI governance and data protection with clients.
• Coordinate security program delivery across services tiers.
• Collaborate with security ops on incident response and remediation.
• Support pre-sales and strategic security recommendations.
• Mentor Security & Compliance Analysts as the team grows.
