Job summary

Spreetail is seeking a Trade Compliance Analyst to ensure import operations are accurate, compliant, and efficient. You will own import entry audits, strengthen customs compliance, and partner with brokers and cross-functional teams to build scalable tools that improve data accuracy and reduce duty overspend.

You will collaborate with Finance, Logistics, and Merchandising to enhance customs processes and import data integrity while supporting global trade operations.

Qualifications

• Experience with U.S. customs compliance, CBP Form 7501, HTS classifications, origin rules, and trade remedies.
• Strong analytical skills to identify errors, quantify impact, and keep audit records.
• Experience with brokers, PSCs, and importer of record compliance.
• Advanced spreadsheet or data tools to create dashboards, calculators, or automation.
• Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration to manage compliance risks.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end import entry audit process, review CBP docs, identify discrepancies, drive corrective actions.
• Manage Post Summary Corrections (PSCs), validate duty payments, monitor broker performance, recover overpayments with Finance.
• Support customs classification accuracy by reviewing HTS assignments and resolving issues.
• Analyze import data to identify compliance risks and savings opportunities, develop dashboards and automation.
• Collaborate with Transportation, Finance, Merchandising, brokers and cross-functional teams to improve processes.
