Job summary

Spreetail is seeking a Trade Compliance Analyst to own import entry audits, strengthen customs processes, and work with brokers and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate, compliant, and efficient import operations. The role focuses on data-driven improvements, duty savings, and scalable tools.

The position emphasizes collaboration, process improvement, and adherence to trade regulations as Spreetail expands its global ecommerce operations.

Qualifications

• Experience with U.S. customs compliance, including CBP Form 7501, customs valuation, country of origin requirements, HTS classification, and trade remedies such as Sections 301 and 232.
• Strong analytical skills to identify documentation and duty calculation errors and maintain audit records.
• Experience working with customs brokers, PSCs, and importer of record requirements.
• Advanced spreadsheet and data analysis skills; experience creating reports, calculators, dashboards, or automation.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills; ability to collaborate across teams and manage compliance risks.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end import entry audit process, reviewing CBP documentation and maintaining audit-ready records.
• Manage Post Summary Corrections, validate duty payments, monitor broker performance, and recover overpayments.
• Support customs classification accuracy by reviewing HTS assignments and resolving discrepancies.
• Analyze import data to identify compliance risks and cost-saving opportunities; develop dashboards and automation.
• Collaborate with Transportation, Finance, Merchandising and brokers to improve processes and data integrity.
