Job summary

Spreetail is seeking a Trade Compliance Analyst to own import entry audits, strengthen customs compliance, and build scalable tools that improve data accuracy and support global trade operations.

You will validate duty payments, monitor broker performance, and partner with Finance to recover overpayments while analyzing import data to identify risks and opportunities. Cross‑functional collaboration and dashboards will be key.

Qualifications

• Customs compliance knowledge including CBP Form 7501, HTS classification, origin requirements and trade remedies.
• Strong analytical skills to identify documentation and duty calculation errors, quantify financial impact, and maintain audit records.
• Experience working with customs brokers, PSCs, and importer of record compliance.
• Advanced spreadsheet and data analysis skills, with experience creating reports, dashboards, or automation.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Own import entry audits and strengthen customs compliance processes with cross-functional teams and brokers.
• Help ensure import operations remain accurate, compliant, and efficient.
• Manage Post Summary Corrections (PSCs), validate duty payments, monitor broker performance, and partner with Finance to recover overpayments and ensure compliance.
• Analyze import data to identify compliance risks and duty savings opportunities while developing dashboards, automation, and reporting tools.
• Collaborate with Transportation, Finance, Merchandising, brokers, and other teams to improve customs processes and data integrity.
