Job summary

Spreetail is seeking a Trade Compliance Analyst to own import entry audits and strengthen customs compliance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and customs brokers to ensure accurate data, minimize duty overspend, and support scalable global trade operations.

Responsibilities include reviewing CBP documentation, PSCs, and HTS classifications, while developing dashboards and automation to improve efficiency. This role offers remote work within the U.S.

Qualifications

• Experience with U.S. customs compliance including CBP Form 7501, valuation, origin requirements, HTS classification, and trade remedies like Sections 301 and 232.
• Strong analytical skills to identify documentation and duty calculation errors, quantify financial impact, and maintain audit records.
• Experience working with customs brokers, PSCs, and importer of record requirements.
• Advanced spreadsheet and data analysis skills; able to create reports, dashboards, or automation to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with cross-functional collaboration and proactive risk management.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end import entry audit process, reviewing CBP documentation, identifying discrepancies, driving corrective actions, and maintaining audit-ready records.
• Manage Post Summary Corrections (PSCs), validate duty payments, monitor broker performance, and partner with Finance to recover overpayments and ensure compliance.
• Support customs classification accuracy by reviewing HTS assignments, resolving discrepancies, and providing guidance on complex classification issues.
• Analyze import data to identify compliance risks, duty savings opportunities, and process improvements while developing dashboards, automation, and reporting tools.
• Collaborate with Transportation, Finance, Merchandising, brokers, and other cross-functional teams to improve customs processes, documentation, and import data integrity.
