Job summary

Workiva Inc. is offering a remote internship opportunity where you’ll create and implement customer documents using industry-leading software, collaborating with Product Management, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Finance to deliver accurate XBRL tagging and footnotes.

You’ll gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment, applying strong communication, initiative, and attention to detail while developing proficiency in Excel, Word, Google Docs, and related tools.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program, preferably in Business, Accounting, or a related program.
• Strong communication and leadership skills demonstrated through leadership positions in community, school, or other programs.
• Professional, outgoing, energetic personality with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Attention to detail and follow-through are required.
• Technically savvy and demonstrate a high level of competency using Excel, Word, Google Docs, etc.
• Experience using Excel, Word, Google Docs, and similar word processing programs.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement customer documents using industry-leading software
• Collaborate with internal, cross-functional teams including Product Management, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Finance
• Apply XBRL tagging information to financial statements and statement footnotes
• Tie-out XBRL tagging information within financial statements and statement footnotes to ensure accuracy prior to filing deadline
• Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers
