Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program in Accounting.
• GPA of 3.2+ preferred.
• Technically savvy with spreadsheets, word processing, and presentation software.
• Strong communication and leadership skills demonstrated through leadership roles in school or community.
• Professional, outgoing, energetic personality with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Attention to detail and follow-through are required.
• Experience using Excel, Word, Google Docs.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement regulatory reporting files in various taxonomies for public companies using industry-leading software.
• Apply XBRL tagging information to financial statements and footnotes.
• Tie-out XBRL tagging information within financial statements and footnotes to ensure accuracy prior to filing deadline.
• Support Professional Services Managers and Directors while learning core aspects of each position.
• Test features for Quality Assurance and work on special projects such as researching new mandates and creating XBRL tagging examples.
