Job summary

Affirm, Inc. is seeking an Operations Associate to join our Customer Operations team. You will resolve escalated inquiries via email, support customers with a professional approach, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new systems and products.

The role emphasizes learning and career development in a dynamic, remote-first environment. The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of omnichannel customer experience, strong English and French skills, and a proactive mindset.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience interacting with customers in an omnichannel environment (phone, email, chat, etc).
• Willingness to support operation functions on evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Proficient in English and French.
• Ability to work independently and virtually in a fast-growth environment.
• Experience in the financial industry is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Resolve escalated customer inquiries via email with occasional phone support.
• Maintain high-quality standards and professional rapport with clients.
• Apply product and financial knowledge to resolve diverse issue types.
• Participate in ongoing training to learn new skills and responsibilities.
• Identify trends and areas for improvement with cross-functional teams.
• Assist with ad-hoc projects and product feature incubations.
• Manage schedules and emails to drive productivity and quality scores.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to analyze and resolve complex issues.
