Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in archaeology, anthropology, history, or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of archaeology experience (field surveys, reports, and agency coordination).
• At least 2 years in environmental consulting or agency settings.
• Strong knowledge of CEQA, NEPA, and Section 106 compliance.
• Experience with northern and central California prehistoric and historic archaeology.
• Excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Valid California driver’s license.
• Registered Professional Archaeologist (RPA) or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee cultural resources projects across Northern California.
• Manage research, field surveys, data recovery, and artifact analysis.
• Direct mitigation monitoring programs and reporting efforts.
• Prepare proposals and technical documents.
• Coordinate with clients, agencies, Tribal representatives, and internal teams.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
• Support business development and client relationship growth.
