Job summary

Strategus, a remote-first advertising partner focused on Connected TV, is seeking a Digital Sales Director based in California. You will lead strategic sales efforts to hit revenue targets, prospect new clients, and craft scalable ad solutions for top brands.

Expect cross-functional collaboration and ongoing industry learning. You will negotiate contracts, manage client relationships post-sale, and drive growth through a hunter mindset while leveraging CRM tools and prospecting platforms.

Qualifications

• 3+ years outside sales in B2B within digital advertising or media.
• 2+ years selling Connected TV advertising.
• Hunter mentality with proactive, results-oriented approach.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to build and maintain client relationships at various levels.
• Strong negotiation and closing skills to meet revenue targets.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently or in a team.
• Proficiency with CRM systems and sales prospecting tools.
• Up-to-date knowledge of CTV industry trends.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
• Identify and prospect new clients via cold calls, networking, referrals.
• Understand client needs and provide scalable digital advertising solutions.
• Conduct needs analyses to align objectives with Strategus offerings.
• Present and demonstrate Strategus solutions to stakeholders.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing for win-win outcomes.
• Build and maintain relationships post-sale for retention.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for pre/post sales processes.
• Stay updated on industry trends to provide consultative advice.
• Provide regular sales forecasts and meet revenue goals.
• Attend industry events to expand the network and generate leads.
