Job summary

LearningMate is seeking an exceptionally agile Learning Design Director for CTE to drive the evolution of our product suite. You will act as a strategic learning architect blending policy, market shifts, and state/federal requirements to create credential-aligned, industry-validated curricula for large school districts and EdTech publishers.

You will lead cross-functional teams, translate ideas into MVP curriculum products, and champion a modern, blended learning approach.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Curriculum & Instruction, Educational Leadership, Workforce Development, or related field.
• 5–7 years building or auditing modern CTE programs in large districts, state agencies, or EdTech publishers.
• Expert-level Perkins V alignment and work-based learning design experience.
• Experience with federal CTE programs and accountability/funding structures.
• Standards-based education expertise mapping objectives to state/industry frameworks.
• Secondary education (6–12) experience and understanding of developmental needs.
• Proven product delivery from concept through prototyping to market launch.
• EdTech partner relations or consultative sales experience in CTE.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical consultations with high-value clients (state agencies, large districts) to unpack labor needs and alignment matrices.
• Co-author future-focused learning visions with internal product leaders.
• Translate ideas into MVP curriculum products, lesson maps, and rubrics.
• Collaborate with UX/UI, engineers, and SMEs to design and validate courses and simulations.
• Lead enterprise-level sales conversations and product demos to win contracts.
• Synthesize market and policy shifts into compelling value propositions.
