Job summary

LearningMate is seeking a Learning Design Director for CTE to drive the evolution of our product suite and align curriculum with Perkins V, IRCs, and regional needs. You will partner with districts, EdTech publishers, and internal product teams to translate policy into scalable, high-demand learning solutions.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Curriculum & Instruction, Educational Leadership, Workforce Development, or related domain.
• 5–7 years building, scaling, or auditing modern CTE programs at state agencies, districts, or EdTech publishers.
• Expert-level knowledge of Perkins V alignment and externships/work-based learning.
• Experience managing or designing content for federal CTE programs with alignment to accountability frameworks.
• Deep standards-based education expertise and ability to map objectives to standards.

Responsibilities

• Monitor trends across multi-state CTE landscape and inform product roadmaps.
• Lead technical consultations with high-value clients to unpack labor needs and alignment matrices.
• Prototype lean CTE courses, digital simulations, and immersive workspace models with cross-functional teams.
• Lead high-stakes technical sales conversations and product demos for enterprise-level contracts.
