Job summary

CDW is seeking an experienced Lead Instructional Designer to drive strategic learning initiatives that align with CDW’s business goals. You will lead complex programs from needs assessment through evaluation, leveraging AI-enabled tools and modern design approaches to maximize learner engagement and business impact.

You will collaborate with senior leaders and stakeholders across teams to define requirements, sponsor programs, and measure outcomes.

Qualifications

• Lead program management for complex learning and enablement initiatives through needs assessment, design, development, implementation, and evaluation.
• Consult with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into organizational improvement solutions.
• Research and apply instructional design, AI-enabled learning, project management, and industry best practices to improve processes and effectiveness.
• Lead multiple concurrent initiatives with governance, risk, resources, and accountability to deliver outcomes.
• Measure learner skills, client satisfaction, and business impact; address gaps with strategic approaches.

Responsibilities

• Write and present recommendations, project proposals and business reviews for internal executive audiences.
• Mentor instructional design team members and share best practices on AI-enabled workflows and learning technologies.
• Evaluate external vendors or contractors to meet CDW-specific needs when necessary.
• Continually develop instructional design and project management skills with emerging concepts and tools.
• Design innovative learning experiences using modern technologies to boost engagement and retention.
