Job summary

ADL is seeking a Learning Designer to develop high-quality K-12 digital content for educators, caregivers, and students. You will convert print materials into online formats including microlearning, interactive videos, and full courses under the Director of Digital Strategy and Design.

You will collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure pedagogy-informed materials, applying adult learning principles and emerging EdTech trends. A hybrid role requires three days in-office in select cities.

Qualifications

• Assess and meet learning objectives through online design grounded in learning theory.
• Proficient in Articulate Storyline, Rise, Canva and video creation.
• Strong project management, organization, and deadline discipline.
• Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication; translate print to online learning.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and bring new ideas.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Instructional Design: design lifecycle from needs assessment to evaluation for K-12 learners.
• Content & Multimedia Development: create accessible e-learning modules, videos, and interactive assets using Articulate Storyline and Rise.
• SME Collaboration & QA: translate topics with SMEs and manage testing of online products.
• Project Management & Communication: manage timelines, risks, dependencies in a remote team.
