Job summary

ProAg is seeking a Crop Insurance Adjuster to join our team serving Western Kansas. You will be the first contact with policyholders after a loss, performing field inspections, reading maps, measuring fields, and gathering production records to determine damage.

The role requires extensive travel, up to 75%, with work from home in Kansas and coverage of your territory. You will apply adjusting guidelines for MPCI, Crop Hail, and other policies, communicating findings to claimants and agents.

Qualifications

• Experience in crop insurance claims or compliance preferred.
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication; able to negotiate and resolve conflicts.

Responsibilities

• Perform field inspections and assess loss using best judgement.
• Coordinate with policyholders, agents, and industry personnel on claims.
• Read maps and aerial photos, measure fields and storage, collect production records.
• Travel up to 75% within Kansas and neighboring areas as required.
• Apply MPCI, Crop Hail, and Federal Crop Insurance guidelines to claims.
