Job summary

ProAg is seeking a dedicated Crop Insurance Adjuster to join our Western Kansas team. The role involves first contact with policyholders after a loss, conducting field inspections, reading maps and aerial photos, and collecting production records.

You will apply adjusting guidelines across MPCI, Crop Hail, and Named Peril policies while working from home and traveling within Kansas. You will report to the Area Claims Supervisor and perform in-field duties, including climbing grain bins and

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Experience in crop insurance claims or compliance preferred.
• Analytical thinker with attention to detail and strong communication skills.
• Basic computer skills and ability to travel as needed.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct fact-finding to determine cause and percentage of loss.
• Explain regulations and procedures to claimants, agents and industry personnel.
• Communicate our position on industry topics and coverage
• Expand knowledge of RMA rules and ProAg procedures for MPCI, Crop Hail and Federal Crop Insurance.
• Collaborate with Area Claims Supervisor to ensure timely claim settlement.
