Sompo seeks a Crop Insurance Adjuster to support MPCI, Private Products, and Named Peril claims from a remote home office in the Southeast region. The role covers Mississippi, Alabama, or Tennessee, with travel up to 50% and fieldwork in rural farm environments.

Ideal candidates have 2 years of crop insurance claims experience, a CAPP certification, a valid driver's license, and a high school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor's in agriculture is preferred.

• Basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Effective interpersonal, oral, and written communication with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to complete documentation requirements and use company software.

Aufgaben

• Build and maintain professional relationships with supervisors, policyholders, agents, and other adjusters.
• Record and transmit loss information to determine potential damages per procedures (FCIC, NCIS, Company).
• Conduct field inspections, read maps/aerial imagery, measure fields and storage bins.
• Explain adjusting procedures and findings to policyholders and agents.
• Investigate crop damage, gather data, and determine potential indemnities.
