Job summary

Great American Crop Division is seeking a Claims Representative to manage and investigate crop-related claims across Northwest Kansas and Northeast Colorado. This fully remote role travels up to 40% to evaluate coverage, liability, and settlements, and to support claim resolutions.

Ideal candidates have at least 6 months in agriculture or crop insurance, with strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in crop insurance or related agriculture fields.
• Experience handling crop insurance claims is highly favorable.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% within the territory.

Responsibilities

• Manage an inventory of crop claims to evaluate liability and coverage.
• Investigate claims to determine liability and damages.
• Determine settlements and reserves within authority; may attend arbitrations.
• Convey information on coverage and settlements to insureds and partners.
• Maintain accurate claim files and support payments within limits.
