Zusammenfassung

AgriSompo North America, part of Sompo International, seeks a Crop Insurance Adjuster. This role supports MPCI, Private Products and Named Peril claims, involving field inspections, maps/aerial imagery, and adherence to FCIC rules.

The position requires experience in crop insurance claims, the ability to work outdoors in farm settings, and strong customer service. Travel up to 50% within Indiana and adjacent areas may be needed.

Qualifikationen

• 2 years' experience handling crop insurance claims
• 2 years' experience as a crop insurance adjuster
• High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to work both in an office setting and outdoors in a farm environment
• Ability to remain focused on exceptional customer service, both internally and externally
• Working knowledge of crop insurance regulations, policies, procedures and best practices
• Willingness to take initiative and work with minimal supervision
• Ability to walk in agricultural fields, up to 3 miles
• Ability to climb agricultural storage bins, up to 75 feet
• Ability to work extended hours, weekend, holidays and/or as needed

Aufgaben

• Build and maintain professional relationships with the Area Claim Supervisor, policyholders, agents, and other adjusters
• Complete field inspections, read maps and aerial imagery, measure fields and storage bins
• Utilize company software proficiently including daily monitoring of all company communications
• Follow FCIS, State, and Company rules and regulations, policies, and procedures for MPCI and Private Products
• Complete initial and ongoing training and certifications as required by FCIC and State Regulations
• Train field claims staff on claim procedures, best practices, and compliance standards
