Job summary

AgriSompo North America, part of Sompo Internationals' global agriculture platform, is seeking a Crop Insurance Adjuster to join the Upper Midwest team. This remote North Dakota role supports MPCI, Private Products, and Named Peril claims operations.

You will build relationships with policyholders, perform field inspections, and process loss information per FCIC and company guidelines. The ideal candidate has 2 years of claims experience, a valid driver’s license, and CAPP certification or

Qualifications

• Strong math skills and ability to read maps and aerial imagery.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for policyholders and agents.
• Knowledge of FCIC, NCIS and state regulations for MPCI and Private Products.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with policyholders and supervisors.
• Record and transmit loss information per loss adjustment procedures.
• Complete field inspections and measure fields and storage bins.
• Use company software and monitor communications daily.
• Follow FCIC, State, and Company rules for MPCI and Private Products.
• Complete training and certifications as required by FCIC and State regulations.
• Explain adjusting procedures to policyholders and agents.
• Conduct fact-finding to determine indemnities; investigate crop damage.
• Willingness to learn new crops and adapt to fields.
