Job summary

AgriSompo North America, Inc. is seeking a Crop Insurance Adjuster to support MPCI, Private Products and Named Peril claims. The role is remote in Indiana, with travel within the region and collaboration with the Area Claim Supervisor, agents, and other adjusters.

You will conduct field inspections, analyze losses, explain findings to policyholders, and train staff on procedures while adhering to FCIC, state, and company guidelines. A valid license and CAPP certification are required.

Qualifications

• 2 years' experience handling crop insurance claims.
• CAPP certification required.
• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record and state license.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain professional relationships with the Area Claim Supervisor, policyholders, agents, and other adjusters.
• Record and transmit loss information to determine potential damages per FCIC, NCIS and Company procedures.
• Complete field inspections, read maps, aerial imagery, measure fields and storage bins.
• Utilize company software and monitor communications daily.
• Follow FCIC, State, and Company rules for MPCI and Private Products.
• Explain adjusting procedures and findings to policyholders and agents.
• Perform fact-finding and investigate crop damage to determine indemnities.
• Train field claims staff on procedures and compliance.
