Job summary

Sompo International, via AgriSompo North America, seeks a Crop Insurance Adjuster to support MPCI, Private Products and Named Peril claims from Indiana-based home office, with remote work options and periodic travel.

The role emphasizes field inspections, policyholder relations and adherence to FCIC, state regulations and company procedures, with training and certification opportunities provided.

Qualifications

• 2 years' experience handling crop insurance claims preferred.
• ~2 years' experience as a crop insurance adjuster preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain professional relationships with the Area Claim Supervisor, policyholders, agents, and other adjusters.
• Complete field inspections, read maps and aerial imagery, measure fields and storage bins.
• Utilize company software including daily monitoring of communications.
• Follow FCIS, State, and Company rules for MPCI and Private Products.
• Complete initial and ongoing training and certifications as required by FCIC and State Regulations.
• Train field claims staff on claim procedures and compliance standards.
