Job summary

Zurich North America is seeking RCIS Crop Claims Field Adjuster I or Crop Claims Specialist to work from a home-based office serving Idaho and Washington. The role involves approximately 40 hours per week with about 50% travel to cover the territory.

Ideal candidates will live within Latah, Nez Perce (ID) or Whitman, Garfield, Asotin (WA) counties, bring strong communication, organization, and prior crop claims experience. RCIS certifications and valid driver’s license are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 6+ months in the agricultural area.
• CAPP certification within 180 days of hire.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transport.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field inspections, read maps/photos, assess losses with farmers.
• Explain complex regulations to claimants and agents.
• Gather facts, document loss information, determine indemnities.
• Capture facts, apply law, negligence basics.
• Complete reviews and audits for lower-level adjusters.
• Maintain knowledge of regulations and policies.
• Support team and participate in projects.
