Job summary

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent plus a minimum of 1 year of behavioral health experience or 6 months of direct crisis experience.
• BS/BA in mental health or human services with two years of direct help preferred.
• Call Center experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Takes inbound calls, texts and chats from individuals needing support, services, or who may be in crisis.
• Performs safety screenings and assessments to discern presence and acuity of risk.
• Uses information provided by the caller and during assessments to understand needs and develop a plan of action with the individual.
• Completes documentation of interactions in accordance with criteria.
• Provides linkage follow-up to assure access to services.
• Coordinates with other agencies and resources to optimize support for individuals.
• Ensures compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and applicable regulations.
