Job summary

HealthSource Integrated Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Crisis Clinician for Thu-Sat 3pm-3am shifts to provide televideo and crisis telephone support.

You will deliver risk assessments, counseling, and resource referrals to individuals in acute behavioral health crises, aiming to connect them with appropriate care and support recovery. Under supervision of the Crisis Response Center Manager, you will collaborate with care teams, document conscientiously, and participate in care hearings when

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or marriage and family therapy.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure by the Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board.
• Maintain licensure by the Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board.
• Two (2) years of experience providing client related services.
• One (1) year providing crisis intervention services.
• One (1) year of experience working in CMHCs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct crisis assessments including risk and safety, interventions, and referrals.
• Collaborate with the individual served, family, and treatment team to support recovery.
• Provide person-centered services with a rehabilitation focus.
• Offer education, counseling, problem solving, and referrals as needed.
• Coordinate referrals to behavioral health and substance use services in the community.
• Be prepared to respond to calls during scheduled shifts and televideo sessions.
• Deliver services with a trauma-informed approach.
• Coordinate with hospitals and other providers regarding needs.
• Complete follow-up calls for postvention and referrals as needed.
• Attend hearings for involuntary hospitalization as required by law.
• Complete documentation during shifts and within 24 hours of activities.
