Job summary

Alliance Health seeks a Behavioral Health Clinician to cover the 24-hour Behavioral Health Crisis line, performing telephonic screenings, triage and referrals to ensure timely access to services. This daytime role includes weekend and some holidays and requires strong crisis intervention skills.

Position is remote from North Carolina, with an initial 6–8 week virtual training period, Monday–Friday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m., transitioning to a permanent schedule after training.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Human Services field.
• Minimum of three (3) years post-degree experience in a program delivering mental health support services.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Initial Screenings, Assessments & Reviews and make referrals.
• Perform clinical triage decisions from telephonic information.
• Ensure safe linkage to services and community resources; coordinate with first responders when needed.
• Provide oversight and training to non-licensed staff and assist with calls during high-volume periods.
