Job summary

Centerstone is seeking a Crisis Response Specialist to provide face-to-face, phone, and telehealth crisis intervention services. You will assess risk, develop safety plans, and link clients to community resources under supervision, while representing Centerstone professionally with external entities.

Responsibilities include documenting interactions, coordinating with emergency services when needed, and supporting team operations.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a relevant field.
• Equivalent work experience may substitute for education.
• Entry level position; on-the-job training provided.
• Customer service or support roles in behavioral health are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate crisis intervention face-to-face, by phone, or via telehealth.
• Assist clients in developing safety plans and identifying resources.
• Conduct basic risk assessments for suicide, self-harm, or harm to others.
• Coordinate with emergency services for high-risk situations.
• Document client interactions and assessments per policies.
• Support ongoing team operations and scheduling follow-ups.
• Understand the Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBHC) model.
