Job summary

Bertelsmann Global Business Services is seeking a detail-oriented Credit Card Associate for a remote opportunity in Westminster, US. You will manage prepay customer accounts, process manual credit card payments, maintain accurate records, resolve billing issues, and collaborate with customers and internal teams to ensure timely resolution.

Responsibilities include reviewing credit-held orders, PCI-compliant payment processing, responding to inquiries, and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• PCI compliance and account receivable experience.
• Availability to work Monday–Friday 8:30 AM–5:00 PM EST.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and process credit-held orders daily.
• Process manual credit card payments while ensuring PCI compliance.
• Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email.
• Investigate claims and adjust debit, credit, or denials as appropriate.
• Research and resolve customer account inquiries.
• Build and maintain positive customer relationships across assigned territories.
• Analyze account activity and maintain accurate customer records.
• Perform account maintenance including write-offs when necessary.
• Generate daily credit card reports using multiple systems.
• Resolve outstanding balances and account discrepancies with customers.
• Recommend collection strategies including payment plans or holds.
• Escalate complex issues to management when needed.
