Job summary

Command|Link is seeking a Billing & Collections Specialist to join its finance team. You will handle billing inboxes, process payments, and support collections to ensure timely cash flow and customer satisfaction.

You will work with the Senior Billing Manager, leverage Creditsafe and D&B for risk insights, and use Claude AI to streamline workflows. This remote role aligns with US Eastern hours.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or 3–5 years in billing/collections.
• Strong understanding of billing/collections policies and procedures.
• Experience with telecom and/or IT services preferred.
• Experience with processing circuit and service disconnect requests.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; data manipulation skills.

Responsibilities

• Promote company values and foster relationships with customers.
• Manage billing inbox and respond to inquiries and requests.
• Process and post checks, deposits, and electronic payments.
• Manage service disconnects, billing cases, and account activity in the CommandLink Platform.
• Monitor overdue accounts and perform proactive collection calls as needed.
• Apply credit risk data from Creditsafe and D&B to collections strategy.
